We’re back. On May 14 RE:VIVE will team up with the internationally renowned SAE Institute, Amsterdam for a RE:VIVE Workshop around our Amsterdam Sample Pack.
Participants will be provided a curated sample pack of 150 archival materials ranging from radio and TV broadcasts to field recordings from the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. Participants be given a hands-on lesson by one of the SAE Electronic Music lecturers and then be challenged to create conceptual tracks using only the provided materials and try to express their Amsterdam vibe.
What you need to bring?
1. Lap top with the DAW of your choice
2. Headphones
3. Preferred MIDI controller (if necessary in your set up)
The workshop is a challenge for producer of all levels to work within limitations, experiment with found sounds and integrate concepts into their works. It will run from 14:00-18:00 at the SAE Institute in Amsterdam Noord (Johan van Hasseltweg 31, 1021 KN Amsterdam, Netherlands)
