At Rewire 2017 RE:VIVE teamed up with producer HOEK (Casmir Geelhoed) and visual artist Dieter Vandoren for a special performance that dug deep into the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision archive culminating in a disarming performance blurring lines between found and stylized sounds.
We also joined up with our friends at SAE Institute Amsterdam for a special Sample the City Workshop. We invited a select group of producers to learn the intricacies of sound design and working with found sounds. For the workshop we also curated a sample pack of archival field recordings made in The Hague over the decades which you can download for free here.
Naturally, we’re looking forward to working with Rewire and bringing you all something unique in 2018 that will bring the past to life.
